Steam website redesign

Our challenge was to redesign the website of Steam in less than 4 days.

Audits

Due to the time limit, we asked our colleagues about their usage of Steam. We conducted interviews with several regular users to identify the pros and cons of the website.

PROS :

category and genre filters
attractive promotions
massive players / games database

CONS :

too many menus
link redundancy
scattered settings
poor organisation of informations on product pages

From these observations, we identified 2 aspects that we needed to focus on :
USABILITY and GRAPHIC.
